Becici - traveling without visa
Budvanska Riviera occupies the central part of Montenegro coast, its length is 25 km and encompasses an area of 122 km². Entire length is facing to the sea, and its hinterland is along the mountains of Lovcen, which was saved from the cold northerly winds and a mild Mediterranean climate condition. The center of the Riviera is town of Budva, one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic. The special charm of the Riviera is about 40 settlements, among which is its beauty emphasize Becici, located south of Budva.
Becici has a sandy beach 1950 m long, ending in Rafailovici. It is known by the golden sand, which, due to the quality and beauty of the sand, got the best mark on the exhibitions in Prague. The beach in Becici has received the Grand (Grand Prix Golden Palm) in 1935 in Paris. The first guests in Becici were the Czechs, and today is visited by guests from all over the Europe, and beyond.
This beach offers a unique view to the island-hotel - St. Stefan, on the left side and the island of St. Nikola, on the right side, the largest island in the southern Adriatic coast, close to their position Budva’s bay, and from it to the Slovenska beach provides shallow, which is at the time of deep reflux only 0.5 m.
Becici has a unique monument of nature - Velja olive, which is located in the village of Ivanovici and is considered to be over 2000 years old. The olive tree is one of the 4 oldest in the world, the scope of the tree is 12.5 m, height about 10 m and still gives the fruit.

Becici is on the border between the Adriatic sea and mountain Lovcen. In the narrow part of the coast are located exclusively hotels, which are separated from other part of Becici with the main road, which connects Petrovac with Budva. Above the main roads are private villas, apartments and houses. All place is located on a slight elevation above sea level. Nights here are very pleasant and slightly chilly. Accommodation capacity is increasing every year, but during the summer months is always required one bed more.
Travelers who come to the Becici by plane can use the airport Tivat, Golubovci in Podgorica or Cilipi in the vicinity of Dubrovnik (Croatia). Transport from the airport is organized to almost all hotels, and travelers who stay in private accommodation can use the bus transfer to Budva. From Budva to Becici traffic local mini-busses every 5 minutes and the ticket in one direction is 1 Euro. Also, if someone decides to travel by train, the nearest railway station is in Sutomore, and to Becici can use again a local bus or mini-bus, which costs no more than 3 Euro per person.

For all food lovers, we recommend a variety of fish and other restaurants, where you can taste a specific food Montenegrin coastal cuisine: homemade prosciutto, cheese in olive oil, olives, sea fish, crabs and molluscs - lobster, shrimps, octopus, squid, and various national drink: Montenegrin brandy, red wine and the like. Evening and early morning hours you can spend in the famous night clubs Torine and Old Montenegro.
What most tourists are interested in, is whether to Becici you can get without visa? Citizens of the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Former Yougoslavian Republic of Macedonia and Slovenia visas are not required, they can stay in Montenegro only with identity card or travel documents. The only new thing from 2008 is that in the entrance of Montenegro all the passengers pay environmental tax in the amount of 10 Euro by passenger car (50 Euro for the bus) and the tax is valid for one year. Also, international health insurance for citizens from the above countries does not need during the stay in Montenegro.
